Service Description
Learn how to create layered surfaces on your ceramic work in this two-day workshop! In this skill-building session, Taylor will demonstrate how she creates rich surfaces on unfired clay using stamping, slip trailing, carving, and painted gradients of colorful underglaze over paper resists. Students will experiment with slip trailing and impressions on soft tile and underglaze painting on bone dry tile. Strategies for fixing mistakes, selecting color palettes, and creating interesting compositions will be discussed throughout the workshop. Breakfast + lunch provided - Open Studio 5-8pm.

Cancellation Policy
Refunds/Credits will not be issued if requested within two weeks before the start of a workshop. If cancellation is requested more than two weeks before the workshop start date, a credit will be issued for use toward a different workshop. In the case that Old Borough Hall Pottery cancels a workshop, refunds will be issued in full.
